Daily Centering Meditation

Find a quiet place free from distractions. Sit or lie down comfortably. Clear your mind. Breathe deeply. Imagine yourself as a spiritual tree that grows roots into the Earth and branches that reach into the Heavens. Envision a golden white light traveling from the tips of your branches, moving through your trunk, then anchoring within the heart of the Earth. Become the light. Ask that this column of light be with you throughout the day, bringing peace and love to you and all you meet. When you have finished, take a few moments to breathe deeply. Slowly bring awareness back to your physical body. Ease into the day and continue on with an inner knowing that no matter what changes occur in the material world, your spirit is constant and shining brightly.
