Witness- Become aware of your life choices and their affects. Only when you become vigilant can you play an active role in making positive changes.

Diagnose- What is no longer working for you? Be honest with yourself but not judgmental. These behaviors have been here for a reason. Thank them for the lessons they have helped you learn. It is time to let them go.

Research- Take an active role in asking questions about the behavior you would like to change. You must understand its origin, be willing to forgive and heal, and use this knowledge to change the pattern.

Corrective Action-Now you can decide what mode of change resonates with you. This is crucial because your heart must be in it for results to occur. Mind, emotions, and body should be considered because they all play a part. Multiple levels of awareness are a sure way to lasting progress.

Set A Time Frame- Give yourself a reasonable time to see progress. If you are not able to assess properly ask a trusted friend for their opinion. Depending on how embedded the behavior has become result should be seen within 4 - 12 weeks.

Daily Strategy- Map out your daily routine in a way that you can easily account for your progress. Be kind with yourself. Keep your expectations reasonable.

Implementation- Have a reminder/keepsake with you during the day to stay on track. Enlist helpers to keep you focused. Team effort is required to maintain healthy life choices.

Monitor- Are you able to continue at this pace you have set? Make adjustments according to how you feel. Don't let others influence your judgment. You know what is best.

Observe- How have your impulses changed? Is this new way of looking at the world becoming second nature?

Post Completion- Time is about up for your original time table. Have you met your goal? Will you continue with this strategy? What could you add or take away from your life that may aid your progress?

I am proud of you for showing interest in harnessing change. May your path be cleared and the light shine the way.
